The Greenville Shakespeare Festival (of Greenville, NH), which I co-founded and directed with Elizabeth Martin, ran from May-August of 2002 and 2003. The Festival housed a resident company of semi-professional actors, and held open auditions to recruit talented members of the community to join us in mounting productions of a range of Shakespeare’s works. In addition to presenting the plays, we ran a number of workshops for pre-teens and teenagers, and helped fundraise for a local community group focused on refurbishing the Town Hall and otherwise improving Greenville.

The festival received financial support from the New Hampshire Charitable Trust in 2003, and received financial and logistical support from the Merriam Hill Center and The Center for American Studies.
